Children’s Classes

We were delighted to be supported by Drogheda Implementation Board (DIB) for our Seishin Guardians project to start a children’s karate class which has been up and running since September 2023.

Classes are for children aged 8 years and above but younger siblings are accommodated where feasible once accompanied by their older sibling.

Classes are based on free-style martial arts alongside a Shotokan karate syllabus.

First classes are free and training fees are €7 per class thereafter but families with more than one child training will have reduced training fees of €6 per class.

Annual membership fee is €50 per member but families with more than one child training will have reduced membership fees of €45 per member.

Registration is required before a child can start training so please complete the registration form in advance; you can also register in person on the day of training but please arrive 10mins early to leave enough time to complete the form.

Training takes place in the Holy Family Community Centre, Balllsgrove, Drogheda, Co. Louth on Sunday‘s from 1:30pm – 2:30pm
